Privacy Policy for Nano Spend

Nano Spend is a personal finance application designed to work offline. We do not require user accounts for core features. Your data stays on your device unless you optionally choose to backup to Google Drive.

Local Data Storage

All financial data you enter into Nano Spend, including accounts, transactions, budgets, and categories, is stored locally on your device only.

We do not have access to your data. Your information is never uploaded or shared unless you explicitly choose to export it or use the optional Google Drive backup feature.

Google Drive Backup

Nano Spend offers an optional backup feature that saves your app data to your own Google Drive. This feature is entirely optional and is only used when you sign in with Google and choose to create or restore a backup.

When you use this feature:

• Your backup file is stored in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers.
• We do not access, read, or store the contents of your backup.
• Google's authentication (Google Sign-In) is used solely to identify your Drive account.
• Your backup data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy when stored on Google Drive.

You can disable or stop using the backup feature at any time by signing out in the app settings.

Permissions

Nano Spend requests the following permissions only to enable specific features:

• Google Account / Drive Access: Used only for the optional backup feature. When you sign in with Google, Nano Spend requests access to store and retrieve backup files in your Drive. We do not access any other files or data in your Google account.
• Microphone: Used solely for voice input when you choose to add transactions using speech. Audio is processed on-device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Biometric Authentication: Used to protect access to premium features. Biometric data is handled entirely by the operating system and is never accessed or stored by Nano Spend.
• Notifications: Used only for reminders when you choose to enable them (e.g. daily expense reminders or bill due-date reminders). Notifications are sent locally by your device and do not involve any external servers or data transmission.

Third-Party Services

Nano Spend does not use advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking services. Third-party integrations are limited to:

• Google Drive: Used solely for the optional backup feature. Data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play / App Store: Premium in-app purchases are processed by the store. We do not collect or store payment information; the store handles all transactions.
